This project seeks to celebrate the growing space female street artists are carving out in the world.  
These are the members of WOMCollective – a group of women graffiti artists dedicated to empowering other women by providing a platform for self-expression as a means of being seen. Together they host graffiti jams, exhibitions, workshops and art events that give back to female artists, local communities and charities.

 A few fun facts:

1. ​A 2 meters high x 6 meters long wall will take about a full day to paint.
2. That size wall will cost around £50 in spray paint alone.
3. That same wall may be up for less time than it took to paint it! For example, at the Stockwell Halls of Fame and Leake Street Tunnel a mural could be covered up by another artist by the next morning, if not the same day.
4. You ALWAYS fully cover up the artwork you plan to paint over, unless you're a dick.
5. Gold is the worst colour to paint with.
6. A street artist can get along with the richest and poorest people in the world. 

I love these women! They represent camaraderie and sisterhood. They are inspiring, encouraging and generous, always willing to give their time whether it be to kids interested in what they're doing or a stranger just wanting to chat.  They welcome all.
